Biomass boilers from Wood Energy Ltd, depending on their size and number of ancillary items, will arrive on one or more articulated lorries. The components of the boiler are taken from the lorry by crane and carefully positioned on the ground for adjustment into final position. Once the boiler is in place, Wood Energy Ltd engineers assemble the boiler components and dress the inner boiler block with heavy insulation and the familiar, red outer covering. This first stage can take from 2 days to 3 weeks to complete. Next, the mechanical and electrical work (plumbing and electrics) are installed, typically, this will take a few days to a couple of weeks, again depending on the size and complexity of the machine. Finally, Wood Energy Ltd engineers perform detailed installation checks and then commission the boiler to run optimally on the fuel-type provided for the boiler.
