Lewes Prison Biomass Boiler Commissioned

HMP Lewes Commission Goup PhotoA 250kW Binder boiler has just been commissioned at Lewes Prison in East Sussex. The system which will provide the bulk of space and water heating for the new prison wing and additional facilities being constructed, will work with a 5000L buffer tank and below ground fuel silo. Wood Energy Ltd has worked with main contractors Keir, M&E project managers Longcross, consultants WSP and wood chip suppliers South East Wood Fuels.
